Puppies are available on a limited basis as we breed only occasionally.
Puppies cannot be sold in New Hampshire until they are 8 weeks old and accompanied by a veterinary health certificate. We often keep puppies until they are 10-12 weeks old to be sure we can match temperament to owners.
We usually establish a “Puppy Day” when all prospective buyers are invited to see the litter and play with the puppies.
Between 7 and 8 weeks we conduct a grading of the litter. This is generally done by us, together with other breeder friends and colleagues to establish a ranking of the littermates according to the standards of the breeds established by the AKC, and the respective bloodlines we have established in our breeding program.
Please note that show/competition homes get first picks. This does not mean you will be getting an inferior dog. Nothing leaves this kennel unless it is in perfect health and indicative of the breed. It’s just that there are certain qualities needed for competition dogs which may not be apparent or needed by pet owners.
Damon’s Kennel, Inc. accepts the return of its dogs at any time, for any reason. No questions asked.
